This campaign is aimed at giving thanks to the teachers and schools that go the extra mile. The vast majority of people, at one time or another, have had their lives positively influenced by a teacher and so we’re giving people the chance to thank those who have either helped them in the past or who are currently doing a great job.

There are few jobs that are more important for the maintenance and development of society. Teachers are the medium through which knowledge and understanding is passed from one generation to the next. These individuals not only teach but act as role models and mentors for young people and they are often the ones that people turn to when they need to talk.

This campaign is not just aimed at giving thanks to teachers in schools and colleges, however, it is aimed at those who teach throughout the community. This includes the individuals that make a real difference by teaching music, sports, languages and many other things, passing on their skills and knowledge and enriching the lives of those in their community. Youth and community centres play a vital role in developing community spirit and ensuring that people are given the opportunity to realise their potential.

With all this in mind, we’re asking you to think about those teachers that have helped you in your life. Whether it’s a P.E teacher who gave you the encouragement you needed to succeed, the Maths teacher who made it all make sense, or the dedicated individual at the community centre who gives up their time to share their passion with others, please, give THANKSTO them.

 

HERES HOW YOU CAN WIN YOUR SCHOOL UP TO £5,000 WORTH OF SPORTS EQUIPMENT:
